Warranty Terms and Conditions
Our WARRANTY covers defective workmanship or faulty materials within the specified period, usually 24 months from the date of purchase, or its distributor will repair at the distributors store or replace the defective part free of charge. Any warranty service claim must be logged at the distributor from which it was original purchased.
Cables and Network supplies must be checked, inspected and tested prior installation.
Warranty Terms and Conditions: Aluminum AC Covers
- Scope of Warranty
This warranty applies exclusively to the aluminum AC covers ("Product") supplied by the manufacturer. The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. - Exclusions from Warranty
The following are expressly excluded from this warranty:
a. Installation Services: Installation of the Product is the responsibility of the client or a third-party installer. Any issues arising from improper installation are not covered under this warranty.
b. Fasteners: Screws, bolts, and other fasteners used in the assembly or installation of the Product are not made of aluminum and may be subject to rust or corrosion over time. These components are excluded from the warranty.
c. Paint and Finish: Discoloration, fading, or deterioration of the paint or finish on the aluminum surface due to exposure to direct sunlight or environmental conditions is not covered under this warranty.
d. Returns After Assembly: Once assembled, the Product cannot be returned, as the screws may leave permanent marks or punctures on the aluminum frame, rendering the item non-resalable. - Maintenance Recommendations
It is strongly recommended that the Product be inspected by a qualified installer prior to the onset of the winter season. During inspection, all screws and bolts should be checked to ensure they are tightly secured and properly locked to the unit to maintain the integrity and performance of the cover. - Limitation of Liability
The manufacturer shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Product, including but not limited to installation defects, rusting of screws, or damage due to exposure to weather elements.
NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY
Storage Exposure to the elements should be minimized. All electrical units must be protected against water.
Our warranty does not cover the purchaser or any other person for damage, malfunction or loss due to the following:
• Lack of maintenance, abuse, neglect, misuse, accident or improper installation of this appliance.
• Scratches, dents, corrosion or discolouring caused by heat, abrasive or chemical cleaners or chipping on parts and accessories.
• Corrosion or damage caused by exposure to the elements such as: water, steam, humidity, insects, weather, sun or hail.
• Cleaning and normal wear and tear. ( Service calls of this nature are chargeable)
• Unauthorized repairs during the warranty period.
• Cracks and weathering caused by exposure to the elements or damage by weather, heat, UV, insects or chemicals.
. Damage or discolouring due to humidity or ambient conditions.
. All cables purchased must be checked and tested prior installation by a qualified technician.
. All electrical items must be checked and installed by a qualified electrician before installation.
. Power supplies carry 3 months warranty and may be void if caused by over voltage surge or lightning surge.
CONDITIONS OF WARRANTY
1. The current specified period warranty is 24 months from the date of purchase unless specified as per power supplies which carry 3 month warranty.
2. For any warranty work, the item must be delivered to Electrical Touch Stores, its distributor with a service department or an authorized service agent. Collection and delivery charges both ways are paid for, by the owner (Client). No liability is accepted for loss or damage during transit.
3. The installation must be installed by a qualified person and operated and maintained in accordance with the instructions supplied. Repairs or service must be carried out by an authorized person.
4. Proof of purchase must be provided to verify purchase date and establish the warranty period.
5.Only the original purchaser is covered under this warranty.
6. The warranty period is calculated from the date of purchase only.
7. Parts installed from other manufacturer’s products will void the warranty.
8. All electrical items must be checked and installed by a qualified electrician before installation.
